"We are right on the edge of the Sahara desert as near as I can figure." - Sgt David Gray The airfield was bombed several times at night, likley by JU-88s. A 10 January raid started fires on 3 aircraft - a B-17, C-47 and a P-38, and killed an airman beside the B-17. |
